For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

Audition Details

  • WAG Puffs Auditions Directions and Monologues
  • All actors are required to audition with a self-selected monologue from the audition packet
  • All actors will also be asked to read additional excerpts from the script during the audition
  • Please have your primary monologue memorized
  • Only use an accent if one is specifically indicated for your character
  • Please be familiar with all snip-its, regardless of gender
  • Please dress appropriately and expect to have your photo taken after you have signed in
  • Please do not bring props to the audition
  • The casting committee requests that you do not wear costumes or face paint

Family Volunteer Expectations

Family members of WAG performers are expected to pitch in and join the fun! We do not have the luxury of paid staff to gather props, construct scenery, make costumes, or clean the theatre. We need your help to make this a successful production. Parent and family participation is a natural part of the community theatre experience.

Each family is expected to contribute approximately 20 hours to the production prior to performances (set building, work inside the theatre, show promotion, etc.). Additionally, families are expected to work before, during, or after most performances. Volunteer positions will be reviewed at the first rehearsal.

Tentative Rehearsals & Performances Calendar

Rehearsals
  • Begin September 1
  • Attendance by all the cast and crew at the first rehearsal is required and nonnegotiable
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Saturdays starting at 9:00 AM
  • An in-depth rehearsal schedule is provided at the first rehearsal
  • Additional rehearsals may be called, if needed
  • Rehearsals may be limited to small groups with various arrival and dismissal times
  • Rehearsal attendance is crucial, but no absences are allowed unless disclosed in registration form conflicts
  • Inability to attend rehearsals affects casting eligibility
